The Jack Party Pack has always been known for their hilarious and creative party games. Earlier at PAX East 2018, the people over at Jackbox Games unveiled the Jack Party Pack 5, and with it, You Don’t Know Jack will be returning for more crude trivia questions.
You Don’t Know Jack was the original trivia party game that got Jackbox Games on the map and enabled the Jack Party Packs to even exist in the first place. The original party game has also been a staple of the Jack Party Packs in the past, but was absent from the previous title. The return should be a delight to most fans, and to kick off the announcement, Jackbox Games presented the Jack Party Pack 5 in their typical, absurd humor that fans have come to love.
Binjpipe, while relatively unknown until today, seems to be a surreal setup for the Jack Party Pack 5. On their official website, when trying to find out what binjpipe is, there is no definite answer. On their FAQ, Binjpipe is “your one-stop, number one source for the most bingeable things in your life. From the shows that you watch to the people you love. The best way to understand Binjpipe is to try it!” Still don’t know what Binjpipe is? Well neither does the CEO of Jackbox Games, Mike Bilder. In an “interview” done by Binjpipe, Bilder claims that he was not “totally sure what Binjpipe [is],” and that he is not sure what it is still, despite being partnered with Binjpipe now.
Whatever the setup is with Binjpipe, the meaning behind the company and its relation with Jackbox Games will be revealed in the Jack Party Pack 5. In addition to this new bizarre twist and the return of You Don’t Know Jack, the game will also have eight player support, a bigger and crazier Jack Attack, new question types, audience integration, streaming features, begrudging meme references, new ways to Screw in You Don’t Know Jack, and “brand new fart sounds […] [and] a lot of new fart sounds, too.”
The Jack Party Pack 5 will launch for the PC sometime in the Fall of 2018.
