Indie Czech developer CBE software, who are the ones that brought you the original sci-fi adventure narrative J.U.L.I.A game, which was released back in March 2012. They have worked hard in order to do it yet again, CBE software has announced that J.U.L.I.A is back with, J.U.L.I.A.: Among the Stars and it will be making its way on September 12th. You will be able to get yours hands on this game for PC, Linux, and Mac via Steam for $19.99, and also able to buy the game directly through the CBE software store.
Attendees of the upcoming Gamescom 2014 happening on August 13-17th in Cologne, Germany will be able to get their hands on the demo of the game for the first time.
With a strong community dedicated to J.U.L.I.A, CBE software looked to Indiegogo back in March 2013, in order to help the funding of the development of J.U.L.I.A: Among the Stars, which was successfully funded on April 2013, with a goal of $5,000 and ending it with $14,120. Players will gets to experience the continuation of this point and click game that has an interesting story, and takes you through puzzles, all while listening to beautiful music.
If you haven’t gotten to get your hands on the original game, then come and take on an innovative narrative sci-fi adventure game that centers around a character named Rachel Manners. She is a 35 year old, who is an astrobiologist, and is she is sent out on a a very critical mission. Players will be all alone, traveling around an unknown planet, where the only companion you have is J.U.L.I.A, ‘the probe’s A.I. and Mobot, a huge reconnaissance robot.’ It is J.U.L.I.A who lets you know the reason behind being all alone, and it seems everything has gone wrong, since you got closer to this unknown planet. Come explore the mysteries of the solar system, and ready yourself for what you are about to find.
