Just two days ago, a new trailer was released for Iron Man VR which showed off the release date of the game. The game will release on February 28th, 2020 for the PlayStation VR exclusively. The game follows Tony Stark as he uncovers the mystery behind why his clientele from his old defense industry have caused a massive tragedy, all the while he is followed by the mysterious Ghost, who seeks vengeance.
The trailer opens up with Ghost stating, “I used to wonder how you did it. Lived in this empire built on pain and suffering.” The trailer then opens up to numerous files on victims of the previously mentioned tragedy which involved a missile attack. Ghost goes on to state that, “I told you that your old weapons would be the death of you Stark.” The trailer then shows a ruined Stark Tower where Tony is attacked by Ghost. Ghost then states to Tony that she is a ghost from his past, implying some sort of relationship between them. The trailer ends with Ghost saying “In death, victims have power, I speak for them. And they say, don’t atone for your sins, die for them.” The story appears to focus on Tony facing the consequences of being in the Defense Industry and the lives his weapons took. This can be supported with Ghost’s quote at the end in which she declares herself an agent of vengeance for the victims of his weapons.
The story trailer shows off a number of locations such as the loft of Stark Tower, the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, as well as Manhattan. The trailer shows that players will be able to fly through an area that could be Manhattan, the locatin of Stark Tower, as well as use the numerous abilities of the Iron Man Suit. The trailer shows that players will be able to use the Iron Man suit for a myriad of activities including fighting drones, repairing airplanes and firing off repulsors and unibeams. Iron Man VR will release for the PlayStation VR exclusively and will be available on February 28, 2020.
