Weeks before its set release, the Iron Man VR game has gone gold. Confirmed on the developer’s status via their twitter account, they still reassured concerned fans that the set release date of June 3rd is still happening. As the game is now fully finished, a demo of Iron Man VR is also available so PlayStation VR owners have a chance to see what the game is like. The demo is said to include the “Malibu” tutorial mission, Interactive Stark Jet cinematics, “Out of the Blue” Stark Jet mission, a Flight Challenge optional mission, and an Advanced Combat Challenge optional mission.

As for those that are interested in learning more about the game before its release, director Ryan Payton recently held a chat going into details about the game’s function mechanics and story. One of his most standout lines about the whole setup includes “The player’s signature handling of the PlayStation Move has an impact on their ability to fly in the intended direction, so we implemented a few hopefully unnoticeable- features under the hood that help smooth this all out. All credit goes to our engineers for creating some truly black magic tech that powers our controller tracking.” Payton then goes on in the interview to describe how the pandemic allowed the team to individually focus on parts of the game and polish those same parts until they were perfect.
Along with this release, a bundle is also set to come out including the game, PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move Motion Controllers, and the PSVR headset. Currently, this entire set will retail for $35 0f USD on its release date.
