Into the Fire Extended Gameplay Trailer Released by Starward Industries

A couple of days ago, Starward Studios released an extended gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Into the Fire. The game will be available for players on PC through Steam. There has not been an official release date for Into the Fire, but players will be able to have early access this year for the developers to get feedback for the game.

Through the trailer, the narrator gives the main objective for Into the Fire. Players will be placed on an isolated island, and the bold explorer must survive for 30 days, listen to nature, and save as many lives as possible from death. Players will visit different parts of the island to help those who are in need of saving from the volcanic eruption on Dante’s Archipelago.

Players will have a variety of tools at their disposal such as fire extinguishing shotguns, seismic scanners, and retro-futuristic inventions. While saving people from the ash and the rumble, players will also unravel myths, confronting enigmatic forces of nature, and unmasking dark rituals- all according to the description on the Steam page.

Players will have access to the Hub, which is the safe place and shelter in the game. The Hub is for the players and the people located on the island to regroup, craft tools that will be essential through the journey, upgrade their gear, rest in the garden, equip tools according to the player’s sense of playstyle, and continue to piece together the story of the island.

There are different key features that Into the Fire, according to the description on the Steam page. Here are some of the key features:

  • Search the Ash-Covered Wasteland – Move through scorched ruins submerged in a post-apocalyptic atmosphere, using retro blowers and life-sign detectors. Someone may still be alive beneath the ash—and rare artifacts await those who dare to dig.

  • Survival Through Strategy – Read seismographs, manage resources, and make tactical decisions to stay one step ahead of both natural and supernatural threats.

  • Time as a Resource – Disaster is relentless—prioritize, act fast, and make sacrifices to ensure the survival of as many as possible.

  • Traversal & Mobility Focus – Use rope systems, retro sleds, and other tools to navigate treacherous terrain and reach those in need before time runs out.

  • Crafting Under Pressure – Scavenge resources and craft what you need to survive—and help others—in one of the world’s most extreme environments, including fire-extinguishing bombs, first aid kits, water tanks, and weapons.
