Injustice 2 has finally received the last character; Starfire in the Fighter Pack 1 DLC for the game. Even though this character was just recently released players won’t have to long of wait in order to see whats in store for the next batch of DLC that developer NetherRealm has up their sleeves. Warner Bros. has announced that the next three fighters that are included in the Fighter Pack 2 DLC will be revealed next week at Gamescom. The brand new characters will be revealed via live stream on August 23.
The stream will start at 4 AM PT/7 AM ET/12 PM CET. The stream will also broadcast a Celebrity Charity Competition that will pit DJs Steve Aoki and Don Diablo in a best of 5 match in Injustice 2. Fans will be able to view the live stream on NetherRealm’s official Twitch channel. There are confirmed to be nine DLC characters overall for Injustice 2.
Players are still able to purchase the Fighter Pack 1 DLC for $20, but anyone who has purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game will be able to receive all of the new DLC characters without the extra costs. NetherRealm boss Ed Boon shared an image on Twitter teasing one of the new characters in the starter pack. However it is unknown exactly who these new characters might be. He did also state that the fans will be really happy with the characters in this pack. “Of all the characters we’re going to reveal, we’ll have the biggest ‘wow’ for the last one we’re going to show.”
