As reported by Game Rant, The developer Digital Cybercherries is bringing their Toy inspired shooter, Hypercharge: Unboxed, to Xbox on May 31.
This exhilarating wave-based shooter boasts a comprehensive story-driven campaign mode, offering players the option to embark on solo adventures offline or team up with friends in co-op mode, accommodating up to four players either online or through local split-screen gameplay. The game’s dynamic difficulty system adjusts seamlessly based on the number of participants in the session, ensuring a balanced and challenging experience for all. Moreover, players can dive into thrilling PvP multiplayer modes, including cooperative endeavors where teams must band together to defend the Hypercore against relentless waves of weaponized toys, or engage in traditional free-for-all showdowns, accommodating up to eight players.
With the forthcoming release on Xbox, gamers can anticipate seamless cross-platform support, enabling them to connect and compete with their counterparts on PC, further enhancing the game’s accessibility and community engagement. Furthermore, Hypercharge offers players the flexibility to immerse themselves in either a first-person or third-person perspective, catering to individual preferences and playstyles. Since its initial launch on the Nintendo Switch in 2020, the dedicated developers have continuously enriched the gaming experience by introducing updates and expansions. Hypercharge, the popular game, is expanding to new platforms to offer players more excitement and opportunities to enjoy its adrenaline-fueled action.
Hypercharge is not scheduled to debut on Game Pass upon its release. However, subscribers can still anticipate an array of exciting additions to the service this month. Xbox Game Pass has revealed a lineup of several captivating titles for May, among them the highly awaited sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Similar to other first-party releases, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will be available for immediate access on the platform from day one.
