Hyper Sports Continues Konami’s Tradition Of Sports Games

As E3 2018 moves on we continue to cover all the big reveals that have come forth during the convention. Many developers have used this big stage to give fans a first look at never before seen titles. Today we got to demo one of publisher Konami’s latest reveals. Konami has rich history with sports game and they are looking to build on to that tradition with their newly revealed title Hyper Sports for the Nintendo Switch.

Konami revealed this title during E3 2018 and we got a chance to get some hands-on time with it. The game has a few different sporting modes for players to engage in. These events range from a 100 meter dash to volleyball on the beach. Each of these modes really makes good use of the Switch’s motion control capabilities. It really promotes players to actively engage when using the motion controls in the way that accurately portrays the motions that are being expressed within the game event.

The logic was simple, the harder your work, the better you did. Apart from the motion controls, each mode is able to be played with a single Joy-Con which is a nice choice for those who want to play split screen. Konami noted that they were going to continue to refine the motion controls from each event.
