Today, developers and publishers GOOD FUN CORPORATION have released a gameplay trailer for Hunger. There has not been a release date for the game as of yet, but according to Steam, the game will be out for Early Access soon. Players are able to wishlist the game now and it is available on PC through Steam.

The trailer shows the medieval world, the people the main protagonist will encounter throughout their journey, and the zombie creatures that players will combat against. There are many different weapons that the main character holds like a gun and also a sword.

Hunger is a first-person shooter game that has both single player gameplay as well as multiplayer gameplay. The game is set into Napoleonic Europe, inhabited by a plague, and leaving behind people who were corrupted by the plague and have turned into zombies that wander about the land.

According to the description on Steam, “This PvPvE extraction RPG blends brutal melee and ranged combat with deep long term character progression, questing and crafting.” Players will be able to level up from level 1 to level 100 by completing different quests, surviving Expeditions, and mastering a robust skill system that evolves along with the player’s choices– all according to the Steam description page.

Players have the ability to choose a unique crafting or gathering profession which will allow them to create valuable items that they can either use, give to their friends, or sell it in the marketplace. Players will also be able to customize their character’s appearances by finding different cosmetics while looting.

Also according to Steam, “the game features no wipe mechanics of the extraction shooter genre, ensuring your progress and story persist.” As players make progress through the game, the endgame incorporates distinct PvP and PvE experiences which as exploring dungeons, encountering bosses, and also PvP combat.
