The Humble Bundle’s Humble Store is now open for your perusal, and to celebrate they’re offering up to 75% off of some popular indie titles.
The Humble Bundle has been offering gamers bundles of great games at a pay-what-you-want price for years, even giving customers the option of donating the proceeds of their entire purchase to charity. The Humble Store continues that tradition by giving customers both Steam keys and DRM free copies of all games, and donating 10% of all sales to charities like Child’s Play, the American Red Cross, and the World Land Trust.
Kicking things off is a sale on nine of the Humble Store’s titles, including unconventional first-person shooters Natural Selection 2 and Chivalry for a paltry $6.25 (discounted from $25), and puzzle game The Swapper for $5 (down from $15).
It will be interesting to see how the Humble Store fares in the digital distribution marketplace. With Steam dominating and other sites surviving by carving out their niches, will the Humble Store find a place in the world of digital game sales? With their charitable goals, one can only hope so.
