Horizon: Forbidden West is one of the most hotly anticipated PlayStation exclusives on the way, but recent updates have indicated that the game won’t be on store shelves until 2022. This was later confirmed by Sony, and recently the company has confirmed the game will release February 18th in a recent blog post. This is exciting news, but the blog post also went into detail about every edition of the game available, and there are a lot, including some with absolutely crazy pre-order bonuses.

Starting off, the PS4 and PS5 basic editions will cost $60 and $70 respectively, both physically and digitally. For another ten dollars, players can get the special edition, which comes with a steelbook display case, art book and all the game’s pre-order bonuses. As Kotaku reports, there doesn’t seem to be any way to upgrade the PS4 version to the PS5 version despite the fact that upgrade paths have been available for nearly every other cross-generation game released by Sony. Fans have pointed out that this directly contradicts statements from Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony, made last year, but Sony has yet to respond.
Now for the meatier editions of the game. The Digital Deluxe Edition will net you both digital versions of the game, the artbook, soundtrack, lots of in-game goodies and the Sunhawk Digital comic book, which expands upon the world and lore Horizon: Forbidden West will explore.
Next, the Collector’s Edition. This one comes with all the bells and whistles the other editions do, alongside an absolutely enormous statue of a Tremortusk, one of the new machines players will face off against in Horizon: Forbidden West. There’s also a little Aloy statue to put next to it (probably just for the hilarious size comparison) which will fit in perfectly with any collector’s set. This edition will run you $200. However, if you really want everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, then there’s still one more edition to cover.
Finally, the Regalla Edition comes with everything in the Collector’s Edition except for that Tremortusk statue specifically (we’ll get to that) alongside two art cards, two game-pieces based on Strike (Forbidden West’s in-game board game), a replica focus with a stand, and a canvas map of the game world. And then, just in case you thought there wouldn’t be a statue included, a completely different Tremortusk statue is included in this edition. This one, unlike the clearly inferior Collector Tremortusk statue, has red war paint and a little fort built onto its’ back where bad guys can sit and enjoy the ride. This edition will cost $260, meaning that if you actually want everything, including both of the statues, you’ll have to cough up $460.
