Hopetown Releases Gameplay Teaser For The Much Expected Game

Hopetown released its Official Gameplay Teaser earlier this week. Created by a part of the Disco Elysium devs and Longdue Games, there’s high expectations for Hopetown and its emergence. The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but with all the trailers and teasers for the game, it might have one very soon.

HOPETOWN– Word Travels Fast | Hopetown Official Gameplay Teaser, ironically starts with the narrator stating “Word travels fast…” Isn’t that what they said?” as “FROM SOME OF THE TEAM BEHIND DISCO ELYSIUM” is center stage. The narrator talks of a “Flare” that “made short work of that-” as the teaser shows sun fares reaching out and touching the earth, turning it “into a new dark age… into “The Hush”…”  It seems that after the flare, realistic or metaphorical “ Blood trails” occurred as the narrator and others did their best to keep “the “word.”” The teaser shows seemingly the main protagonist of the game who is a “flashwriter” that holds the power to destroy all through writing.

After this story tease, the teaser goes into some of the narrative gameplay.  It shows dialogue between the playable flashwriter and another person, in this short dialogue a “DANGER SENSE” and “VOGUE” are highlighted, the first describing the others posture, and the last highlighting dressing and character. The playable character also talks to other characters in early “PRE-ALPHA BUILD GAMEPLAY,” some of those talks show off the ability to choose dialogue and carry out interviews. There seems to be a photographer who joins the flashwriter, then the teaser teases the ability to “DRAFT YOUR ARTICLE” through pictures as well as notes and discovery points about the photos taken. As the teaser reaches its end it teases something exciting, the opportunity of powers such as the “ABACUS” and more, each aiding the flashwriter. With what’s teased so far in the Gameplay teaser, it seems Hopetown is in for a strong start and  especially with some interesting aspects in the game, its future Gameplay and Release Announcement are something to watch for those curious about the game.
