It has been leaked that several new mini-games will be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail version 2.2, which is set to release next month. These mini-games will contain multiple stages and unique concepts. Some of them will require players to solve puzzles and interact with different NPCs, while others will challenge them to defeat a range of enemies. Similar to events, these mini-games will reward Trailblazers with items such as Stellar Jades and Rail Passes.
Leaks revealing potential content for version 2.2 have been appearing online all week, with Gamegrant claiming that the update is centered around Boothill and Robin, two characters with unique skills. The focus will add them to their respective teams by using Special Rail Passes on banners. Aside from Boothill and Robin’s debut banners, the upcoming update will bring their signature weapons to the rotation.
The Reddit user homdgcat2 also shared images suggesting there will be four mini-games, amongst other surprises like the beloved cartoon character Hanu returning in Clockie’s Extras.
As well as the games, events are expected to be added where players can get rewards if they complete them within a certain period. This could include Clockie: Dreamjoy Memoir where there’ll be a series of challenges to finish and a four-star Harmony Light Cone and Stellar Jades to collect.
In the forthcoming update of the run-based role-playing game, scheduled for release on May 8th, players can anticipate an immersive continuation of the captivating storyline set in the enchanting realm of Penacony. Building upon the rich narrative tapestry established in previous updates, this latest installment promises to deliver even more depth and intrigue as players journey through the intricately designed landscapes and encounter a diverse array of characters.
Moreover, the conclusion of the main story arc amidst the vibrant and bustling setting of the Planet of Festivities is sure to provide a thrilling climax, leaving players eagerly awaiting what surprises and challenges lie ahead.
