Today, to prep fans for the coming few weeks, publisher Square Enix alongside devs at IO Interactive released a trailer they are calling “Season Premiere.”
Starting March 11th, fans will be able to play the first installment in the episodic HITMAN series on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The above trailer uses the song “Men Today” by HEALTH.
It also gives fans a sneak peak at the Prologue and Paris locations we can look forward to in the first episode, along with a glimpse at the Italian coastal town of Sapienza that will be out next month in April, and a look at a couple areas in the Moroccan city of Marrakech we can expect in May.
The series will consist of seven episodes in total. In which Agent 47 returns to his role as the elite and efficient, assassin in which he will tackle a new, continuously expanding, episodic campaign. Devs have promised to provide players with weekly contracts and challenges, as well as various, monthly content drops until the season’s finale.
HITMAN hold the promise of a game that will branch, and progress itself over the span of seven episodes that will launch separately in 2016 calendar year.
You can play HITMAN Episode one on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC starting March 11th. Lucky member of Playstation Plus will not have to wait sitting on their haunches that long, however, as the open beta will start March 4th-6th.
