Hitman 2‘s newest expansion, Haven Island, is finally available. Dubbed, “The Last Resort” it takes place on the tropical resort island in the Maldives, and this new map just might be one of the most beautiful, lush, and vast environments that Agent 47 has ever worked on. As for his assignment, he’ll have to traverse his way around to take out three high profile targets, all of whom are in charge of the resort’s secret true agenda, identity swapping.

Of course, what would a new piece of DLC be without it’s launch trailer. We see both 47 and his partner, Lucas Grey, arrive on the outskirts of the island, planning their approach. 47’s handler, Diana Burnwood, speaks in the background, outlining the objectives. There are three main targets for you to eliminate. CEO Tyson Williams, Client Relations Ljudmila Vetrova, and IT Specialist Steven Bradley must all be taken out before heading to the exit and completing the mission.
All of them are spread across the island, which is massive. In addition, the island is dense, filled to the brim with numerous buildings, shacks, spas, security centers, and tons of cameras to ruin your day. No need to fret though, as with all Hitman missions, there are special challenges and story opportunities to assist you in this endeavor. In fact, with so many different alleyways and avenues to go about here, the possibilities are almost endless for 47 to complete this task.
However, if you attempt it on the Mastery Difficulty, then the game won’t assist you at all, leaving you up to your own devices to figure it out. Haven Island is the last major expansion to release as part of the Expansion Pass. While there are more smaller pieces of DLC on the way, we shouldn’t expect any more of them to be story related. At this point we’ll more than likely be waiting on one of two things. Either IO Interactive will announce another Expansion Pass, or they’ll officially reveal Hitman 3, and we already know one of these exists.
Hitman 2 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the Haven Island Launch Trailer here:
