With almost nothing known about Death Standing, Hideo Kojima threw a gut punch to all the fans by telling them they will not be able to see or get their hands on the game at this years E3.
The news was delivered by non other than a Twitter post that was met with some pretty entertaining gifs from displeased fans. In the Twitter post Kojima did apologize saying, “Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be E3 as we are fully focused on development”.

Following this tweet he sent out another that offered no real information but did give the fans something to speculate about. Below you can see the tweet that offers only a small picture of what appears to be a spiders web in the shape of a star. There is only a single word “Bridges” under the web and “Death Standing” at the bottom. This post again sparked some hilarious gifs and some speculation that the game will have Jeff Bridges in it, and that he will be Spiderman.

With not much known about the game other than that it will star The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus and that Kojima, while not giving an actual release date, said it would be out before 2019. While Death Standing will not be there, be sure to check in as we will be providing coverage of E3 as the event unfolds.
