Xbox has recently announced that they will be releasing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice for the Xbox One on April 11th, 2018. For less than 7 months, Hellblade has only been available for PC and PS4 gamers. Now the dedicated fans of the action-adventure game will be able to experience Hellblade’s storyline with more enhanced visuals.
Developed by Ninja Theory and released on August of last year, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice holds down a strong rating for its captivating and disturbing plot line. The game centers around the Celtic warrior, Senua, who throughout the game battles against hallucinations induced by her severe psychosis, all while trying to rescue her lover’s soul that was sacrificed to the Norse gods.
After its initial release, Hellblade managed to break-even three months before anticipated. On top of that unplanned accomplishment, Ninja Theory donated all of their earnings from Hellblade‘s sales on October 10th to the ‘Rethink Mental Illness‘ organization, the same day the campaign launched. Because of the main character’s own battle with mental illness within the game, it was only natural that the developers would aim to offer support to the people who are directly afflicted.
Now less than 7 months later, the game will make its ‘re-debut’ this April.

Since Hellblade is now compatible with Xbox One, the game is capable of providing HD10. In short, this little feature will present the game’s detailed graphics in a vividness that seems all too realistic. Xbox One’s 4K Ultra HD offers, as explained by the official Xbox website, “a resolution of 3840 pixels × 2160 lines, offering roughly twice the resolution of 1080p HD” However, your television must be capable of providing that high of a resolution. As for Xbox One X Enhance, it is stated to provide graphic enhancements and a higher frame rate. Combine all that with the intricate and painful story line behind Hellblade, Xbox will beautifully do the game justice.
