Blizzard has announced new details and price for Curse of Naxxramas, a Hearthstone Adventure and you’ll be able to get your hands on this possibly in July sometime or ‘soon’ as Blizzard keeps saying. Players will take on an adventure, that can never be forgotten, that will have five wings that will open up one wing at a a time, on a weekly basis, which in the following order includes, Arachnid Quarter, Plague Quarter, Military Quarter, Construct Quarter, and Frostwyrm Lair.
Players will be able to go into the Arachnid Quarter for free during the launch event for Curse of Naxxramas, and that should last about a month or so, says Blizzard. In the Arachnid Quarter players will fight against bosses that includes, Anub’Rekhan, Grand Widow Faerlina, and Maexxna, and if you defeat them you will have new cards to add to your collection.
Once you finished with Arachnid Quarter, you can choose to unlock the next four wings of Curse of Naxxramas using either in-game gold or with real-life cash. Players will be able to purchase for 700 in-game gold or $6.99 to unlock the wings. If interested in getting a bundle price instead, the prices are as follows:
If you do decide to go through the bundle option after opening up the Arachnid Quarter, Blizzard mentions that you will not get the locked wings faster than everyone else, you will still receive it the same time as everyone else, with one wing being opened on a weekly schedule.
Blizzard also mentioned on their announcement today that Curse of Naxxramas will have a Heroic Mode. This mode is unlocked after you defeat all of the area’s bosses. Heroic Mode, will be even more difficult then the first time you defeated them, and if you defeat them in this mode, you will unlock yet another new card for your collection.
