Blizzard’s release of the new 19.0 patch for Hearthstone provides the game with new content by bringing in Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion cards, the revamped progression and rewards system, Battlegrounds Hero Pool updates, the Tavern Pass, and so much more.
Hearthstone’s newest expansion cards, Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, are available to look at before they are officially released to the public on November 17th. Yet, Blizzard has made it possible for individuals to build their deck with an online deck builder.
The progression and rewards system has also had many updates in the form of addons for the “Achievements System” that tracks your in-game accomplishments, a central “Rewards Track” for all earnable rewards outside of ranked play, a quest revamp, and an updated “Profile Page” with player info, ranks, and stats. Players will be able to access each of these pages by clicking on the new journal icon that will replace the “Quest Log” that was on the main menu.
Battlegrounds Hero Pool has received updates in the form of “Darkmoon Tickets” are now in the tavern, players will have to receive 3 to discover a minion from the player’s own “Tavern Tier”, and that Queen Wagtoggle has been removed from the current “Battlegrounds Hero pool.”
The Tavern Pass will immediately grant the “Golden Silas” Darkmoon Legendary minion, a 10% XP Boost that lasts for the duration of the expansion, and all items up to your current level on the paid track, as well as the ability to earn an additional XP Boost as players progress with the Tavern Pass during the Madness at the Darkmoon Faire expansion. This will of course be available through the premium purchase of the Tavern Pass for $19.99.
