Hearthstone Announces Summer Expansion Perils In Paradise, Coming July 23rd

Hearthstone has an upcoming expansion that promises a summer paradise. The upcoming expansion titled Perils in Paradise will feature a host of new chards and mechanics for players looking to fill up some summer down time. The main draw of the expansion besides all the new available cards, is the new mechanic of tourists which allow players to borrow other perils of paradise from one other class into their deck. In a sense it opens up dual deck building. However, players can only have one tourist at a time so they may want to be careful when selecting the tourist that works best for them.

For those looking to enjoy the fun of a beach getaway, Marin’s new resort in the Spiral Isles is the perfect place. With the new location cards being added, there will be six new tourist hotspots to explore and utilize. Along with all these new cards players will also be able to obtain a free copy of Marin the Manager just for logging in. After the update, this guaranteed card will be available on players first opening of Perils of Paradise card packs, so rest assured all players will get to enjoy the new Marin card.

Players can find a list of all announced cards here, and can expect to enjoy Perils in Paradise starting on July 23th, 2024. For players wishing to purchase one of the bundles, the two being offered are the mega bundle and regular. The mega bundle offers 80 Perils in Paradise card packs, 10 Golden Perils in Paradise card packs, 1 random Perils in Paradise signature legendary card, 1 random Perils in Paradise golden legendary card, and the Hakkar the Houndmaster card back and Hero Skin all for about $80. The regular bundle offers a much more modest 60 card packs, 2 random legendary cards, and the Hakkar card back for about $50. Both packs are currently offered for pre-purchase here.
