The wait has ended for those who have been eagerly awaiting to assume the position of CEO of Death Inc. Have a Nice Death officially launches and to celebrate the occasion, a launch trailer was published for the occasion. The comical trailer introduces Death’s assistant, Pump- Quin. Pump-Quin is there to tell Death of all the paperwork he has to go through while his only desire is to drink his coffee. When a person passes on to the afterlife, Death is charge of sorting out all the paperwork for their arrival. However, his company executives known as Sorrows have decided to go rouge and do as they please, bringing in more work for Death to deal with. Wanting to put an end to the pile of paperwork and earn a coffee break, players will journey into the afterlife as Death and retake control of Death Inc.
Have a Nice Death is a rouge-like 2D action game. It was developed by Magic Design Studios and published by Gearbox Publishing. The animations of the game are hand drawn and they bring players into an immense world filled with whimsical adventures and a stunning world that brings players into lavish landscapes of the afterlife. As Death seeks out to punish his misbehaving employees, players will assist him and travel through the eight different departments of the company. Each department has an executive who have been insubordinate.
As players progress in the game, they will fight the employees using Death’s scythe, cloak, and magic. Use the scythe to slash your way through enemies. Gain the advantage and use Death’s cloak transformations to use a variety of skills to unleash powerful attacks against bosses. Cast spells with the pitbook and bring forth an arsenal of magical attacks to gain the upper hand against tricky bosses. Have a Nice Death is now available to play on the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
