Summer Game Fest 2024: Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Set For Release On Sept. 3

Warner Bros. Games has released the first trailer for its upcoming video game set in the Wizarding World universe: Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

This new title marks a significant moment as Harry Potter returns to the cultural zeitgeist, reawakening the magic for both longtime fans and a new generation. With the resurgence of interest in the franchise, fueled by recent adaptations and continued engagement through theme parks and merchandise, Quidditch Champions taps into the nostalgic yet ever-evolving appeal of the Harry Potter series. The game promises to bring the exhilarating sport of Quidditch, beloved by readers and viewers of J.K. Rowling’s series, to an interactive platform where players can immerse themselves in the fast-paced, high-flying action.

The game features iconic Wizarding World locations, beloved characters, and references that fans will adore. Players can assume the roles of Beaters, Chasers, Keepers, or Seekers in a variety of exciting game modes. The game takes players from backyard battles at the Weasley Burrow to high-stakes showdowns at the Quidditch World Cup.

They can play as, or compete against, iconic characters such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and many other quintessential figures from the series, bringing the beloved characters to life in thrilling Quidditch matches.

Additionally, as a special bonus, players who own Hogwarts Legacy will receive the exclusive Bonus Legacy Pack when they download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and connect to their WB Games account.

Despite all this information, we still don’t know much about Quidditch Champions, and the freshly released trailer doesn’t reveal much more. However, we do know that the standard edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be priced at $29.99 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Additionally, the game will be free for PlayStation Plus members from September 3 to September 30.
