Happy Birthday Agents: The Division Hits 20 Million Player Mark For 2 Year Annviersary

March will be a big month for Tom Clancy’s The Division. Ubisoft’s sprawling multiplayer shooter is about to hit its 2 year anniversary and with it, it has hit a major milestone. The game has officially reached 20 million players across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Though this number likely includes players who just partook in one of Ubisoft’s free trial weekends for the game, it is an impressive number nonetheless. In fact, it is twice the population of the entire country of Sweden. Their official twitter put out a tweet and infographic explaining some of the stats:

They released number of interesting stats, including the fact that one PS4 player faced down 7,768 waves of Resistance since its release December 2017. That’s an average of 100 waves per day. Which is a lot of hours logged for one Agent.

March is going to be full of global events for The Division players in celebration of the upcoming anniversary on March 8. There will be one unique global event every week in the month of March, starting with Outbreak, which began on March 1 and continues through March 5.  In addition to those, their community team will be streaming on Twitch and dropping loot for players who tune in to watch.
