Are you a big fan of the Halo series? Then you are in for some good news! The Halo TV show has not been talked about for a while until a couple days ago, Microsoft confirmed that Steven Spielberg is still working on the show. What could we expect to see out of this well known director and producer. Greatness is always expected from his shows and movies, so this show will have a lot to live up to, even without telling us much about what is expected to come.
It is unclear exactly how long they have been working on this show, but talks of the show started back in 2013 when the Xbox One was being announced. Many expected it to air in 2015 when Halo 5: Guardians was released, but that was not the case. If they have been working on piecing together a good story or bringing on a lot of good actors since 2013 the show will have really high expectations to meet upon its release.
Other than the fact that the show is not cancelled, we were not given any new details about the show. We are unsure what the premise of it would be, whether it will follow the famous Master Chief or just some other marine in the battles. But just knowing that the show is in active development is enough for most to keep on waiting and imagining what will come in the pilot and the season to come. Over the next few months/years Spielberg will be busy directing other shows and Indiana Jones 5 so this could delay the Halo show’s release even more, but he at least came out on Twitter and stated that production is active.
