We’ve been hearing a lot about Halo Guardians coming exclusively to Xbox one and the wait is almost over. Just six days and three hours from now people will be getting ready for story and competitive online play the likes we haven’t seen yet for Halo. However you won’t be loading or pre-downloading that Halo disc and get on quite as fast as you thought you would. Because there is a massive patch releasing simultaneously with the game.
This patch will come in at a whopping 9 gigabytes. Which is fine for those on a connection that isn’t cable or is and you hope no one in else in the neighborhood is on. But in reality unless you live a lone you are lucky if half the family isn’t on streaming Netflix and other extensive bandwidth using content. Also make sure you have enough available space on your 500 GB Xbox One Console.
This update according to IGN will be mainly for multiplayer. This will provide improvements for multiplayer and lots of glitches and unfair cheating tactics people may exploit. According to IGN this may include exciting feature updates as well like Spartan Companies which is a Halo type community to connect with other people that like the game as much as you do.
Thankfully unlike the old days where the disc you got was it. Good or bad glitches or unplayable game breaking errors and you pretty much sucked it up. A few modders and such existed but nothing like the content of todays DLC packages. So expect more updates related to single and multiplayer in the future along with all that DLC.
Will the game live up to all the hype? We will soon know if it is a worthy sequel that can cater to modern gamers.
