Halo 5: Guardians‘ long awaited Warzone Firefight multiplayer mode arrives to Xbox and PC gamers on Wednesday June 29, it will also be accompanied by a new free title update, 343 Industries announced.
Warzone Firefight, which is a combination of Halo 5‘s Warzone multiplayer mode and Halo 3: ODST‘s immensely fun and popular Firefight playlist, underwent a beta test in early April. The turn out and involvement of the community was huge, the presence of active beta testers was something 343 was able to get great feedback from.
Responses from that test helped to 343 to add new features, such as new vehicles, weapons and bosses. It also allowed 343 to take care of bug issues with a playlist as large as this will be.
Warzone Firefight isn’t the only major change to Halo 5. The update will also be adding “Score Attack” this will be put into to the game’s campaign, as a means of competing or co-operating with friends/rivals to achieve the highest score through the game’s story.
The update will also encompass three new maps, as well as a major update to the canvas of the Forge map editor. It seems that 343 is doing a wonderful job keeping Halo 5 relevant to its loyal players by giving them loads of free DLC. Keep it up 343.
