Just today, CD Projekt Red released a new trailer regarding Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. The new trailer showed off some gameplay and revealed that the game would be coming to tablets and phones in late October of 2019. According to GameSpot, players who purchased the PC version of the game will be able to transfer over their progress to any of the new devices that will be supported provided that they log into a GOG account. However, players who utilize a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One will be unable to transfer over their progress to the new devices.
CD Projekt Red also released information on which devices the port will support. These devices include, “iPhone 6S or newer (including iPhone 11), iPad Mini 4 and newer, iPad 5th generation and newer, iPad Air 2 and newer and all iPad Pro devices.” The game will fuse the features of the PC version of the game and redesign the controls to work with a touch screen. According to GameSpot, more powerful devices will be able to support 4k textures.
