Guns ‘n Goblins Delivers An Explosive Announcement Trailer

Guns ‘n Goblins, a new action packed shooting game released its Announcement Trailer earlier today. The game developed by Lance and Argl will be coming to Steam later on this year. While there isn’t much information out yet, more updates like its official release date should come at a later date.

Guns ‘n Goblins Announcement trailer kicks off with a first person player gunning down a swarm of monsters. As the swarm grows to ridiculous sizes, various types of guns are used to dispatch the swarm, the character even flies in the air while shooting at and exploding multiple monsters. The trailer moves from metal gates to a golden bell which is used to “Call the horde.” Humorously, the player uses a gun to shoot at the bell, it lets out a loud sound and the gates open and a swarm of monsters come from a bridge that the player shoots at, as they come closer.

In a twist, some monsters have dialogues, and work with the player to give out new weapons. After taking out swarms of monsters, the playable character “LEVEL UP”’s and when entering a fire place at night, one can check the “STATS” and “SKILLS” of the character. The character can collect coins presumably from dead monsters, by throwing money at friendly talking monsters, the money can be used to upgrade settlements and upgrade weapons. These can be used to “Hold the fort,” as ridiculous amounts of monsters threaten to overturn the walls. The character goes through different landscapes and hoards trying to kill them off. At one point the wall of monsters was so huge, the gate obstructed the rest of the creatures. Blowing up the bridge, killing monsters, ringing the bell, and flying to shoot at a giant dragon with multitudes of monsters, the trailer ends with the title page. Guns ‘n Goblins is available for Wishlist on Steam.
