Fantasy MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is turning one this month, and to commemorate the occasion the folks at developer ArenaNet are opening the floodgates to everyone with a computer and an Internet connection.
From Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25, Guild Wars 2 is free to check out. While you won’t hit the maximum level in that time, a weekend is enough to see the world, run through some public events, and check out the PvP modes. The game still has a decently-sized community in North America and Europe, so you’ll have plenty of people to party with. It’s a celebration, y’all!
