The GTA Online weekend event is now underway and will be going through Monday, the 6th. Those who have been hoarding cash to buy that shiny new yacht can now get a massive discount. The Orion Mega Yacht is currently half off. You can also get tons of customization items for a yacht at a 25 percent discount.
If you are more of a land dweller, the sale still applies to you. The Turreted Limo, a limo with a mini gun mounted on top, is half price, as well as the SuperVolito and SuperVolito Carbon helicopters (If flying is your thing).
Many other cars are up for sale too, from the Executive and Other Criminals expansion they are on sale for 25% off at Legendary Motorsport, this includes all types of the Benefactor Schafter, Cognoscenti, and the Verlierer.
When it comes to the GTA Online events, players expect that there’s a special playlist available. Loaded from the main menu the playlist grants 2x RP for playing recent game modes. However RP is currently offered no cash.
This event is coming just before the release of GTA’s new update Further Adventures in Finance and Felony and as to be expected to help promote and celebrate this update GTA should be offering more “events” this week. The events will be similar to the one today and will have players all over racking up cash.
