For PC players, Grand Theft Auto 5 just got a little more interesting. Josh Romito decided to create a new mod that allows GTA 5 to have advanced visuals, new water dynamics, 4K textures, advanced new player rag doll effects, and much more. Best of all, It is now officially available for download.
Not only will the Redux mod bring beautiful new graphics to the game, but it will also make some key changes to many in game functions. Most prominent is the new Wanted Level mechanic. Josh decided to make the police officers more capable in stopping the players. They will now have better tactics and be more well equipped. Once a player reaches five stars the Army will now be called in to take you out… with tanks.
Vehicles are also adjusted to have more true to life handling, as well as with weapons. Pedestrians will have new mechanics where they will no longer fall over from simply walking into them. The same goes with how cars crash, there will now be more detailed collisions and better vehicle movement post crash.
Youtube channel Ocean Powell released a trailer of sorts to show just how the game will be changed with the new mods put in place.
