The Tokyo Game Show is this weekend which means a whole batch of new trailers for some of your favorite games are about to come out.
The first of which is a trailer for the upcoming Gravity Rush 2. The game is a follow-up to the original game which came out back in 2012 on the Vita before it saw an HD re-release for the PS4 late last year. The game itself follows the exploits of Kat, a mysterious girl with the power shift gravity in an area around her.
As we’ve said in the past the plot of the first game revolved around Kat discovering who she is and the second game will focus on Kat developing and maturing as a character. This latest trailer, however, hints that Kat will have to face some final choice as well as the player learning the secrets of Kat’s origin.
Besides hinting at the plot, the trailer also gives us a lengthy look and the world and the variety of environments. It also mentioned that players will be able to revisit Hekseville, the setting of the first game.
We also got a look at some of the new characters in the game. Not much is known about them other than their names and taglines.
The first is the previously announced Night Gale, another gravity shifter with a raven for a pet.
Next up is the Delta Team, like the tagline says they are a pair of rebels.
After the Delta Team, we have Kali “The Guardian Angel”.
The next character is Durga and despite looking like a nice and wholesome angle is called the “Angel of Destruction”.
Gravity Rush 2 is a PS4 exclusive and will launch on December 2nd for all versions of the PS4.
