After a week of numerous video clips getting leaked online and Rockstar Games releasing its official statement apologizing for the manner in how the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI got revealed before the official reveal, the Extended Look on Netflix has been released. The 26-minute video is captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. “This extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI showcases the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet,” Rockstar Games said.

The Extended Look featured 5-6 different gameplay missions/segments. It starts off at night as Jason and Lucia getting interrupted by the police as they are working on a deal. All hell breaks loose as they shoot their way out.

It then cuts to them meeting Brian and Lori as it cuts to various small heists before leading into a big getaway car chase. The player as Jason is holding the police at bay. Then, the player switches to Lucia as they drive away from the police. After getting away, they ditch and get rid of the car and switch to a new vehicle.

The next segment is a montage of different activities that Jason and Lucia can do. Players can play basketball, explore underwater, ride jet skis, kayaking, street racing, circuit racing, working out at the gym, dirt bike racing, and skydiving.

The last segment has Jason and Lucia working as bodyguards during an event. Eventually, a group of armed men assault the event and take the person Jason and Lucia were hired to guard hostage. It’s a race to save him as Jason takes on a group with guns and Lucia has to fight her way to the action.

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026.
