Grand Theft Auto Online Unveiling The Diamond Luxury Casino Later This Summer

It’s amazing to think that Grand Theft Auto V came out all the way back in 2013 and that Grand Theft Auto Online followed it later that year. The online community must feel truly lucky that Rockstar Games has continually spout out more and more content while improving the online formula. Next up will be the introduction of the Diamond Casino & Resort, which will be “a brand-new luxury destination and the largest mass entertainment complex of its kind in” San Andreas. From monster trucks to mod support to extra heists to buying a club and becoming a DJ, Grand Theft Online is truly an expansive sandbox that has satisfied its player base and will continue to do so until more is learned about the sixth installment in the series.

The upcoming Diamond Casino will no doubt have its fair share of gambling and behind-the-scenes mischief along with over-the-top amenities for players, shopping, and other modern gaming facilities. Rockstar promises that this casino and resort will have something for everyone, whether that’s a crazy night out with friends or a relaxing escape from the criminal underworld. For other games like poker, in-game money can be used on gaming tables and such, but the premium currency that can be purchased with real-world money will not be usable for games. However, it’s unclear as of now if Rockstar will implement a different monetary structure at The Diamond.

The Diamond Casino will be located between Vinewood Hills and the view of the Tataviam Mountains. Detail-oriented players may have noticed the new construction while driving on the LS Freeway where an “Opening Soon” sign used to be boldly visible. For those unfamiliar with Grand Theft Auto’s map, the casino is being built in the Southern San Andreas area.

Rockstar plans on discussing the details of The Diamond Casino & Resort soon and giving an inside look into what players can expect from the building’s aesthetics and entertainment. The studio has stated that this content drop is coming soon later this summer.
