The GTA Online Halloween event for 2024 promises to be a thrilling experience for players as Rockstar Games continues its annual tradition of celebrating Halloween with in-game activities and content. As of the time of writing this article, information is limited, but this year, players can expect a range of frightening updates, including themed missions, special rewards, and fighting many waves of zombies.
Originally released on October 1st, 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online was developed by Rockstar Games. “Experience GTA Online, a dynamic and ever-evolving online universe for up to 30 players, including all existing gameplay upgrades and content released since launch, ready to enjoy solo or with friends.”
North Yankton is a popular location in Grand Theft Auto 5’s prologue. Rockstar Games is constantly updating its games, which led them to confirm that GTA Online will return to North Yankton once survival mode arrives in October 2024. Their blog post states: “Starting next week, Open Wheel Races and the San Andreas Super Sport Series are being rotated out to make room for returning favorite Halloween modes — and look for all kinds of surprises throughout October — including a brand-new survival set in North Yankton’s Ludendorff Cemetery.”
Every year, GTA Online players look forward to discounts on spooky-themed items in the in-game store, allowing them to decorate their characters and properties with Halloween clothing and more. It has been confirmed that this year will also include these discounts, but exactly what the discounts are will be announced at a later date.
There hasn’t been an exact release date but Rockstar Games encourages players to keep an eye out for all kinds of surprises throughout October on their website and social media.
