Polyphony Digital wants Gran Turismo 7 to be a culmination of the series that fans can appreciate and something that newcomers can get into. Polyphony wants to convey everything from the past 150 years of car and racing culture into a single video game. Returning for Gran Turismo 7 is the GT Campaign Mode. This time around, the developers want to make the mode similar to the word Gran Turismo which means “Grand Touring” in Italian. People would go on long trips across the European continent, learning and growing at their travel destinations. Players will undergo a similar experience as they each take their own journeys and gain life experiences in the GT Campaign Mode.
Also coming back is the Livery Editor. The main difference from the system in GT Sport is there is improvement to the Editor’s user interface and improvement in utility and accessibility. Scapes allow players to have complete control of photorealistic shots using HDR technology, expert-level effects, and panning shots. You can photograph the car you’re driving in freely in photo spots across 43 countries and over 2,500 locations.
Legendary Circuits also make a return in Gran Turismo 7. Historic Circuits like Trial Mountain and High-Speed Ring are back and look better than ever thanks to the power of PS5. GT Cafe helps a player navigate their adventures in the world of GT, presenting a specific collection of cars that have a cultural meaning from the past, present, and future. Players will progress and complete missions by acquiring prize cars from various races within the world, as well as from the Brand Central and the Used Car Dealership. GT Auto makes a return to the series providing players with wheel changes, wide-body modifications, the addition of roll cages as well as other aerodynamic parts, plus engine oil changes and car wash.
