We’re in the thick of Black Friday Sales now, as multiple retailers have begun to spring out their annual price reduced sales events. As we reported yesterday, Blizzard Entertainment is running a special Battle.net Black Friday Sales Event, with some excellent deals for their games, most of which are never on sale. Following the trend is the popular DRM-Free digital retailer GOG.com, who has also unleashed their Black Friday Sales Event. With over 14 pages of discounted games, this is one of the largest video games sales of the year.
We’re not kidding, there are a lot of games on sale here. It would take forever to list every single one of them, so we highlighted the ones that we think are worth buying. Let’s start off with the biggest, and most obvious one, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, which is almost always on sale at GOG, as the website is run by CD Projekt Red, the creators and developers of the franchise. The Game of the Year Edition, which contains hundreds and hundreds of playing hours, is 60% off, making it only $19.99. If you haven’t played one of the greatest open world RPG’s of all time, this is the best chance to get it.
Mafia II: Directors Cut, has been greatly reduced by 80% for $7.99. Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition is available for measly $4.99, and Jade Empire: Special Edition is also on sale for a paltry $3.74. Continuing on with the special editions, Homeworld Remastered Collection has been dropped to just $8.74, and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition is only $9.99. Crysis, which at one point was the pinnacle of PC game engineering, is on sale for $4.99, and the outstanding third-person shooter game, Dead Space, is available for $4.99.
These are just a handful of the games that GOG has for their Black Friday Sales Event. All of these amazing deals will end on Tuesday, November 27. Take your time and be sure to look through all 14 pages of games that are on sale. Like we said earlier, their’s a lot. GOG is also having their 10th Anniversary this year, and this sales event is the best way to celebrate Good Old Games. You can check out all of the games on sale here.
