Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude Free Visual Novel Now Available For PlayStation, Coming To Steam And Epic Games Store March 8

Today, Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have announced Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude, a visual novel is now available for free for all PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners. The Prelude will be available for PC for free on Steam and Epic Games Store on March 8, 2022, prior to the launch of Ghostwire: Tokyo later in the month.

In Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude, players will join the mysterious KK, the supernatural entity that bonds with Akito in the game, and his team of supernatural detectives as they investigate an unusual disappearance. Along their journey, they’ll stumble upon something even more sinister. Players will be able to choose between different interactions with KK’s team that will piece together their stories.

Ghostwire: Tokyo follows the story of Akito, a young man who survives an event known as the Vanishing where a lot of the population of Tokyo mysteriously disappears. When Akito wakes up, he discovers that he is bonded with KK. Together they try and unravel the mystery of the Vanishing and work to defeat the one behind the event, Hannya and his followers known as the Visitors by utilizing and mastering the powerful arts of Ethereal Weaving. Ethereal Weaving allows Akito to fight using the power of fire, water, and wind but it will not be the only thing that Akito has at his disposal. He will have access to equipment like a bow and arrow, electricity emitting stun talismans, and more. Akito can also take down Visitors stealthy and will be able to parry enemies too. Vistors can also be defeated with flair by causing enough damage until their core becomes exposed.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will be available for PlayStation 5 and PC on March 25, 2022. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition if the game from the PlayStation Store will be able to play the game early starting from March 22, 2022. Players will also get the Streetwear Outfit Pack, Shinobi Outfit, and the Kunai Weapon.
