Ghost Recon: Widlands is receiving it’s very first expansion, Narco Road, that will release on April 25th on all platforms for the price of $14.99. However, season pass owners will have access to the expansion on April 18th a week before its official release. In Narco Road, the player must earn the trust of 3 all new gang bosses who are collectively led by the elusive El Invisible in Bolivia. The players are given 15 new campaign missions in which they have to work through in order to take down El Invisible. There are also new types of side missions and racing challenges included in the expansion. These side missions must be completed in order to gain followers throughout these new campaign missions.
The expansion introduces four new vehicle types: Monster trucks, aerobatic planes, nitro boosted muscle cars, and motorcycles. It also adds four new exclusive outfits and nine new weapons. There will also be a new update for Ghost Recon: Wildlands that will be applied on April 12th for consoles and April 14th for PC that will introduce weekly challenges for players. These challenges will revolve around a themed season exploring a story across six weeks. By completing these challenges players will be rewarded with up to three unique in game items a week. The first season will have players fighting in Unidad’s threat to the country in The Rise and Fall of Unidad. These challenges will also be refreshed every Wednesday.
Regarding Fallen Ghost, The second expansion pack for Ghost Recon: Wildlands it will be available sometime in the near future and will feature a new 4×4 pvp mode. The season pass for Ghost Recon: Wildlands is still available for $40 and includes both of these expansions, a permanant 5% XP booster, a single use 2 hour XP booster, more missions, and more equipment packs.
