A new Genshin Impact leak from a prominent leaker known as Bebe has been uncovered and the lineup for enemies appearing in Version 4.2’s Spiral Abyss has been revealed. Floor 12-1 of the newest Spiral Abyss update will pit players against a variety of elemental enemies which include rifthounds and Abyss mages. The Sumeru’s Matrix boss will be present in the second half.
Floor 12-2 features several of the Fontaine’s new Mesa enemies during the first half while the second half pits players against Sumeru’s Jadeplume Terrorshroom. The finale of floor 12 will culminate with the Emperor of Fire and Iron world boss in the first half of chamber 3 and the Nemesis of Coppelia in the second half.
The RPG’s next installment is expected to add a pair of new bosses to the game, introducing both a new world boss and Fontaine’s first weekly boss. The leaks have also hinted that Genshin Impact’s newest expansion to Fontaine will bring more overworld monsters to the region as well. Version 4.2 is set to launch on November 8th.
Spiral Abyss has been the game’s prominent endgame content with challenging enemies and powerful bosses. The game mode typically features a rotation of new enemies with each new update. This provides players with team-building strategy sessions in order to take down the bosses. Each rotation of Genshin Impact’s Spiral Abyss challenges usually places a spotlight on the newest enemies added to the game. Version 4.1 rotation featured both of the game’s newest bosses in the Millennial Pearl Seahorse and Experimental Field Generator on floor 12.
The new Spiral Abyss update will also feature unique new buffs for players to take advantage of. Typically, this focuses on HP manipulation and is meant to benefit the game’s most recent characters like Neuvillette and Wriothesley. This new rotation will likely benefit the two new characters coming in update 4.2. One of the new characters, Furina, was officially revealed earlier this week and leaks exposed her as a character that manipulates her own HP and her own allies’ HP. Charlotte, another new character set to release in update4.2, has also been teased as a healer. By using her camera, she attacks enemies and heals her allies’ HP.
Genshin Impact is available for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version of the game is undergoing development.
