FuRyu has released the introduction trailer for CRYMELIGHT, its upcoming roguelike action game. The game is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on November 5, 2026 in Japan. Steam currently lists the PC version for November 4, 2026.
The new trailer introduces the game’s story, characters, and combat systems. CRYMELIGHT is set in Wonderland, a prison for the souls of the dead. A girl with no memories is given the name Alice by the White Rabbit and brought to a tea party, where she learns that only those who defeat the Queen can be granted freedom. Alice then joins Mary, another girl she meets in Wonderland, and takes part in the game in order to return to her world. As Alice encounters the sins carried by the other girls, she begins to see parts of their pasts. The main cast includes Alice, Mary, Cheshire, Mad, March, and the White Rabbit.
The game combines roguelike action with card-based decision-making. During each stage, players choose skill cards and build a hand of up to five cards. The Poker System changes attacks and abilities depending on the card combinations players create. If Alice is defeated, the cards from that run are lost and the player is returned to the start. Another combat system, Wonder Dimension, activates after enemies are defeated. An indigo field spreads across the stage, strengthening Alice and changing the pace of battle as it expands. The field’s effects change depending on the skills selected during the run. The Repentance System lets Alice take on the sins of defeated souls and convert them into strength. Materials earned through repentance can also be used to upgrade weapons and accessories, giving players another way to prepare between attempts.
Alongside the trailer, FuRyu confirmed that the Steam version of CRYMELIGHT has passed 50,000 wishlists. To mark the milestone, the PC version will receive a Deluxe Edition. The Steam Deluxe Edition includes the game, six DLC items, an 80-page digital artbook, a 30-track complete soundtrack by Sakuzyo, a special soundtrack, and three special voice drama tracks.
CRYMELIGHT is planned for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game is available to wishlist now.
