Fruitbus, an open-world culinary adventure game, will be released on consoles and PC. Although the game has yet to be announced on what consoles it will play on, we do know it will launch sometime in 2024 and it will be available on Steam.

According to Gumatsu, a Japanese video game news website, the game is a “cute culinary adventure, set in an open world where taste is everything. Upgrade your trusty truck and visit a whole world of new destinations together.” Players will be able to discover fresh fruits and vegetables on each island in the mythical Gutsam archipelago. In turn, players will learn specific customs on each island and cook meals to match those customs in order to make happy and full customers.

As for the game’s features, players have the ability to upgrade their fruitbus. Players have the freedom to customize their fruitbus in their own way. If you so desire, you can place a giant banana on top of the fruitbus or plant wings on each side. Customizing a fruitbus means more customers as they are drawn to the creative appearance of the bus.

Additionally, the game makes it possible to forage in the wild for different fruits and vegetables. This is the open-world aspect of the game as players can go on adventures into the wild areas of the world. In the wild, players will find inspiration for new recipes.

Continually, players can upgrade their kitchen. This means players can decide how they want to customize their kitchen to match their own play style. By making original recipes, new customers are attracted to the fruitbus. There is also the challenge in crafting local recipes that will hopefully satisfy the natives.
