Free Games Arrive For PS Plus

With only four days remaining in July, Sony has released the list of the new set of games that will be free to download for Playstation Plus users in North America and Europe during the month of August, according to Gamespot. Like usual there will be six games, with Ultratron playable on PS4, PS3, and PSVita. PS4 users can also download Rebel Galaxy and Tricky Towers. PS3 users will have the ability to download Retro/Grade and Yakuza 5 and PSVita owners can also download Patapon 3.

Tricky Towers is a new puzzle game from WeirdBeard Games. Best used as multiplayer game for two to four players has you build your own tower while using your spells in order to stunt the growth of towers your opponents are building, in which Chris Pereira of Gamespot describes as a competitive version of Tetris.

The other PS4 game available to download is Rebel Galaxy. Rebel Galaxy is a space RPG from developer Double Damage:

Take the helm of a massive destroyer as you make your reputation through trade, by being a work-for-hire mercenary or a swashbuckling pirate. In a procedurally generated universe, no two star systems are the same and there’s always something new to discover. So take the helm, prepare for battle, and have a blast with Rebel Galaxy.

For the PS3, Yakuza 5 is open world action-adventure game that takes place in Japan. You play as Kazuma Kiryu, who gets thrown back into the middle of a war between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance, returning to a life of crime and violence to protect the ones he loves.

Retro/Grade is a rhythm based game which seemingly plays in reverse as you try to unfire attacks in order to save the space/time continuum while listening to the beat of music.

Similar to Retro/Grade, Patapon 3 is rhythm game where you attack as the superhero Patapon. You can campaign with friends, go head-to-head and even lead a clan of your friends, in which you can customize with your own weapons and abilities.

Finally, being compatible with PS4, PS3 and PSVita, Ultratron plays similarly to retro arcade shooters. All humans who been wiped out by killer robots and as the only humanoid battle droid remaining, you have to defeat the robots and avenge the human race.

You still have time to download the games for free during the month of July, which includes titles such as Saints Row: Gat out of Hell and Prince of Persia: Revelation.

I'm a big Pokémon fan, so I'l spend a lot of my time playing that. Other than that, I love sports, particularly the Charlotte Hornets and the Carolina Panthers. No matter how bad the team is, I will always rep them.
