Fragmentary Order, the newest and upcoming hardcore sci-fi FPS by the creator of Escape from Tarkov, Nikita Buyanov, was announced on April 12, 2026. The team behind this new project is Rant Gaming, with Cor3 as the publisher and Nikita Buyanov involved. Nikita goes on to say that the game “is not related to BSG or Tarkov.” With this announcement, a trailer about the lore of the game dropped, and no release date has been given. The game is still in its early stages, so fans will have to wait and see what the devs have in store.
The game itself takes place in a dystopian future in the year 2251. Humanity has collapsed, but is saved by a mega corporation called Core, which convinces the world’s governments to come together and ultimately sets its sights on space and its colonization. It’s set to be a multiplayer combat tactical simulator that takes place in hazardous environments. Many are speculating that the game is an extraction shooter set in space. The game appears to take place across the solar system, with players controlling clones and engaging in battles on planets such as Mars, which is partially terraformed and hostile. Players will collect and scavenge resources, take on contracts, and attempt to survive the world itself.
The game has left a good impression on players, as many are excited for the new announcement and are wondering if they can preorder the game, which the devs quickly responded to: “We appreciate the eagerness, but let’s not jump ahead of ourselves.” As said before, the game is still in its early stages, but if this sounds like a game for you, the devs have set up a website that many can visit to learn more about the world the game is set in and fall in love with it some more.
