Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles Reveals Four New Playable Characters (Exclusive) https://t.co/cqa4idQC8k
— ComicBook NOW! (@ComicBookNOW) November 8, 2024
There are several new characters but Comic Book has stated that they have been given the opportunity to reveal the four characters.
Rifle Droid – one of the main things players do is cut down Battle Droids. This rifle specifically allows players to attack opponents from far away.
Staff Tusken Raider– Unlike the Rifle Droid, the Staff Tusken Raider allows players to get close in order to attack. Like other staffs, this one is also created by Tusken Raiders.
Ishi Tib– The first two characters are more focused on the weapons but the Ishi Tib is a melee fighter. It has made multiple appearances on the Star Wars media page. This character shows strength and agility.
Mercenary– This character was created as an enemy for 1999 Star Wars. Mercenary uses tactical attacks to take down other enemies and this is the first time this character can be played as by the player.
As I stated above these are not the only new playable characters that will appear in Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles. These characters weren’t originally available for play in the roster of Jedi Power Battles. This is why Comic Book was given permission to introduce them to us so players could learn about these new characters.
As of the writing of the article, there isn’t much more information about the game besides the characters and that there will still be mission co-op in the game. It has also been stated that more information will be given as we move closer to the release date.
