Fortnite Will Add Uncharted Outfits to Promote Collaboration With the Upcoming Film

In order to create excitement for the upcoming Uncharted film, Fortnite has created a collaboration with the movie that will bring some of the characters into the game. These new outfits will be coming to the game on February 17.

Fortnite teased the collaboration to their fans last week when they asked players to work together and solve a riddle that also contained a 14 letter passcode. After some time, many social media users and gamers alike were able to solve the puzzle. The code turned out to be”sic parvis magna”, meaning “Greatness from small beginnings”. This phrase actually relates back to the Uncharted games and Sir Francis Drake. In the games, the phrase is inscribed on Nathan Drake’s ring that once belonged to Sir Francis Drake.

Those who discovered the password are able to enter it on the website and will then be redirected to the company’s youtube site. The unlisted video that the users are shown contains clips of the outfits in action during the game. The game will feature outfits that take inspiration from both the upcoming film as well as the Uncharted games. The outfits from the movie will be based on Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer, who are being played by Tom Holland and Sophia Ali. Similarly, the outfits from the video game will be based on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

The outfits that Fortnite will be releasing are available along with certain items to purchase from an Uncharted set. These items will include the Update Journal Emote, Parashurama Axe Pickaxe, and the Hand Saber Pickaxe. The youtube description also says that Nathan Drake will begin to leave maps behind that will eventually lead the players to hidden treasures around the map that can be opened with their pickaxe.

These additions to an already popular game will help to create excitement for the upcoming film while also giving players more to look forward to as well.
