LEGO Fortnite received the most substantial update, which includes a Free and Premium LEGO Pass: Rebel Adventure. Players can complete quests to earn Studs, which progresses the pass and earns rewards.
The free reward track contains 10 Decor Bundles themed around the planet Tatooine and a final reward of the Mos Eisley Marketplace Build. The Premium Reward Track gives immediate access to the new Chewbacca Outfit, and contains four Decor Bundles and seven Builds, culminating with the Dusty Durrr Burger Build.
The update also adds a variety of new tools and a new Village type, the Rebel Village, which is automatically spawned with the update and can be upgraded up to Level 10 by providing resources and creating Rebel Buildings. The Village and its characters will remain beyond the Star Wars event. Imperial camps will also pop up around the world as the Empire attempts to spread its reach.
By helping out Rebel Villages, players can unlock different-colored Lightsabers, which need time to recharge after combat. Bowcasters, DL-44 blaster pistols, E-11 blasters, and Thermal Detonators can be crafted at a Rebel Workbench, which is unlocked when players add Plastoid to their inventory.
In addition to the Chewbacca Outfit from the LEGO Pass, Outfits for Dagobah Luke, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper have been added across all modes. Outfits for Darth Vader, Krrsantan, and the Mandalorian have all received new Lego Styles, and other Star Wars skins will appear in the shop throughout the event.
Darth Vader and Chewbacca are appearing on the island in the Battle Royale mode, along with the Wookiee Bowcaster, Darth Vader’s Lightsaber, and E-11 Blasters. Completing 10 of the new Star Wars Quests will unlock the AWR Back Bling.
A stage based on the Mos Eisley Cantina is coming to Fortnite Festival along with the “Cantina Band” (a.k.a. “Mad About Me”) Jam Track. Completing Star Wars Quests in the mode will unlock Naboo’s Seven-string Hallikset Guitar, and the Endorian Drum Kit and Nalargon Keytar will be available in the shop.
Finally Star Wars and May the Fourth Quests will be available in Rocket Racing to unlock the podracing-inspired Energy Binders Trail and the Anakin’s Podracer and Darth Maul Decals. In the shop, the Beskar Bundle provides access to the Beskar Car Body with appearances based on Din Djarin, Boba Fett, The Armorer, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Sabine Wren.
The event will last until May 14, though the LEGO additions are permanent to the mode.
