Fortnite Got Sucked Into a Black Hole, Unknown When it will be Back

Fortnite is gone! Yes, you read that right. Ever since the Season 10 ending event known as “The End” occurred yesterday afternoon, no one has been able to play the game. This is all due to the the entire world of Fortnite being sucked into a black hole at the end of yesterday’s event. Now, all players see when they try to access the game is the black hole in the middle of a blank, black screen.

During “The End”, The Visitor’s rocket was finally launched. The rocket, along with others, shot around the map and through rifts. Then, all the rockets went through one rift before shooting out from behind the meteor, before hitting the ground and creating a giant portal that sucked in the meteor. Following this, the rocket shot out from a portal at the top of the world hitting the rift zone around Loot Lake and sending every player flying into the air. Then, the meteor came crashing into the same spot creating a black hole that sucked in everything from the players, to the battle bus, to the map, everything.

Once the event ended and the black hole appeared on screen, players were left in a state of shock and confusion. The official Fortnite social media accounts have also been blacked out, including all tweets being deleted on the official Twitter, with only a live stream of the black hole screen being broadcasted on all their channels. No one thought the game would be gone that long, but almost a full 24 hours later the game is still in this state.

There have been a few hints and fun things about what Epic Games is doing with the game currently. If you input the famous Konami code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Start), you get to play a Galaga inspired minigame. Then, a sequence of numbers started to sporadically appear on screen which some fans believes to pertain to specific words in The Visitor’s messages that were in the game over the past week.

There was an apparent leak of Season 11, including the possibility of a new map, last week. Then, a few minutes ago a leak of the trailer for Season 11’s Battle Pass was posted on Twitter which has since been taken down. It will be interesting to see what exactly Epic has in store for the future of the game.
