For a while now, Epic Games has been talking about Fortnite Season 3 for some time now and after months and months of delays, they have finally released it to their dedicated fans. Fortnite has released their Chapter 2 Season 3 addition of the game and this time the battlefield is flooded as the theme of the game is based on a water type theme.
Yesterday Epic Games released this long-overdue third season after following Fortnite’s massive event earlier in the week. Players who participated in this special gaming event fans would notice that the battle royale island was surrounded by a wall of water. And now coincidently, they released the trailer of the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 looking like an aquatic gameplay features that will include a new Waterworld kind of style floating city and for the player’s ability will be at an ultimate new high.
The obvious change within the game will be the map. Most of the western portion of the island will be underwater that will largely eliminate locations like Slurpy Swamp and Weeping Woods. And the destroyed Agency area will now appear as a heavily-fortified base. With most of the map being filled with water, boats will become a viable thing to the game. The new season will introduce new mobility options that players will be able to use in the game now.
With everything being new including the format of the map, players should expect some new features coming for this new season as well. On the official Fortnite website they stated players will be able to water skiing where they can use sharks as a form of transportation. Players will need to latch onto a fishing rod to ride, steer, and jump across waters. Also, fans will see a familiar face in the new season and geek out when they see Aquaman has been added.
They also added new enemies which players will have to defend themselves from new Marauders as they crash down into the island and challenge other survivors. There is a section in a game called Build-A-Brella, this is where players can level up and complete a challenge they can earn their own umbrella. And as time goes on and the water has receded more locations will be revealed and roadways will become more visible, players will discover more ways to get around potentially this season will see actual cars roaming around in the game.
