Fortnite Chapter 2 Appears to have been Leaked; A New Map Inbound?

Fortnite, the massively popular battle royale game, is currently winding down its tenth season. With Season 10 ending on Sunday, many are wondering what’s in store for the game’s eleventh season. Then, today, the Italian App Store may have accidentally leaked what’s coming in just a few days, and it appears to be a major update.

Apparently, Season 11 will be dubbed Fortnite Chapter 2 and bring with it a brand new map to the game for the first time since the battle royale mode launched back in late 2017. In the promotional image posted on the Italian App Store, three of the game’s characters can be seen overlooking what appears to be a brand new map filled with rivers, and the title Fortnite Chapter 2 above them. The image also appears to hint that the game will bring in boats as the next new vehicle for players to use.

Season 10 was originally set to end this past Sunday, October 6, but Epic decided to add an extra week to the season, and threw in the Out of Time Overtime challenges that launched yesterday. The end of Season 10 is set to happen when the in-game event known as The End occurs this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT. While no one knows for sure what the season ending event will entail, it will have something to do with the The Visitor’s rocket is set to go off in-game which may possibly teleport players to the mew map.

While it is not set in stone what is coming in Season 11 of Fortnite, fans of the phenom only have to wait a few more days to find out.
